At Odeum Restaurant, Chef Calisi combines Roman and Greek cuisine with Spanish influences, and includes his creative and fun flair to traditional dishes. The Chef spares no expense with the best octopus imported from Spain and the salmon imported from Scotland, fresh local organic vegetables, and grass-fed beef from Australia and the Midwest, yet provides his customers with a reasonably priced menu, fit for every budget.
The restaurant is located in The Granary, a certified LEED Gold building, which was recently converted from a granary formerly used by farmers in agri-business of years past. The Granary is situated in the heart of Morgan Hill, less than a block from the VTA, making it very convenient for Morgan Hill residents and San Jose residents alike. It seems only fit that the "green" restaurant, which uses solar power to sustain its operation also boasts an on-site garden and orchard, used to provide the freshest herbs, vegetables and fruit. Customers enjoy a walk through the on-site gardens and often spot the Chef harvesting the herbs and vegetables that will soon become their dinner.

Chef Calisi recently received one the highest honors while Executive Chef and Partner at Dio Deka Restaurant, when they were awarded a Michelin star. The Michelin Guide stated, “Chef Salvatore Calisi has fun with the menu, lending it some Mediterranean touches and infusing it with contemporary sensibility that utilizes both local California products as well as global accents.”

Traditionally, an "Odeum" was a Roman and Greek meeting place for the arts. At Odeum, you will also experience the arts, as the restaurant offers a rotating art exhibit of local artists, as well as live entertainment, and the Chef's culinary masterpieces.
