Irma is very professional. It is always a pleasure to be in her shop and visit with her when getting the BEST hair cut you could get. I have short hair with a natural wave and she is so good at ALWAYS making my hair look so nice that I have been at stores or waiting in line and have been approached and asked, "who cuts your hair?" Anyone with very short hair knows that it is difficult to get it cut "just right and lay in nicely." I have gone to her for many years and consider her not only my hairdresser but a friend too. I often recommend her shop to others. Her prices are very reasonable.

Irma is the best. You need to visit the Hair-em. I needed a new look and she took the time to listen to what I thought I wanted. I came out of the shop and felt so good about the look. I received so many complements. She spends time listening to you to get what you want not what she thinks. (Which happens with others). Her shop is quaint and centerally located on Monterey Road.

I have been with Irma for many years. I left at one point only to return and have her "fix" my hair. Now, I faithfully continue to go to her. She does her best to get me in--even at the last minute! She has the ability to understand what I want. I am always pleased with her work and get many compliments. For me, the best part is that she keeps styles up-to-date and easy enough for me to handle. She is the BEST!

Irma gave me my first "real" hair cut back in 1976 and I am still her client. No one is more flexible about getting you in on the day you want. She even went down to Southern California to style my hair for my son's wedding (along with my mother, mother-in-law and sister!)

Irma has been doing my hair for over 40 years. She has a true passion for her work and it shows in her results. I am always happy with my style and color. Her salon is very relaxing and friendly. Her neck massages with her shampoos are the best!

I have been going to The Hairem for ~15 years. Irma is the best, I have tried many, many other stylists & no one else comes close to her. She is professional, accurate, knowledgeable, & very trustworthy. She never tries to sell you on things that you don't want or need, just to make a buck. I do not trust my hair or my daughters' hair to anyone else. This is a big deal, because the people who really know me, know that I am very picky!

Irma is a life saver! She has over 25 years experience, and stays up with the latest cuts and styles. She is a master colorist, and no one can match her permanents for all lengths of hair. Her hands are fast, and she does not waste time. Irma always tries to be accomodating. Because she is also an event planner, her salon is relaxing and beautiful.

If anyone has natural curley or wavey hair, Irma is the one to cut and style your hair. I wouldn't go to anyone else. She ALWAYS has time to fit you in...her customers are always made to feel important! Thank you, Irma!!

I've been going to Irma for over 30 years, I would never think of going to anyone else. She is wonderful! She fits me into her schedule at a moment's notice. She is so accomodating and she gives the best hair cuts, perms and colors. I don't know what I would do without her.

I can not express enough how much I have appreciated Irma and her talent at cuttting, styling, and coloring my hair over the past 18 years. I could call anytine I was in a pinch and she would fit me in. I never hesitated when she asked me if I wanted a new "DO". I trusted her judgement and always loved my new "DO". I appreciated her then and now even more since I am out of the area most of the time. I am finding it extremely difficult to replace her. I do not expect that I can, it will be a make do for my "DO". Ever thought of moving to Columbia Irma? Thank you irreplaceable Irma of the HairEm!

I have known Irma for many years. It is great having her do my hair. She knows exactly what she is doing, is fast, gives great styling tips, can give you an appointment on a moment's notice, and makes everyone feel very comfortable in her salon. I have been to many hair solons in my lifetime. None of them compare with the Hair-Um. Irma has givin me the best hair cuts I have ever had. She is great at what she does. You always leave satisfied.
